TheMillz responds:

Thank you.

Really great

I don't think theres enough of these "press buttons to continue adventure" type games. I really like these, thanks.

TheMillz responds:

Well I would hope there isn't, it would help us stand out that way ;)

Thanks for playing and reviewing.

Bravo

The 'game' was very well put together. The only reason I don't give this a higher rating is because of personal prefrence.

The cinematic button press was good. It (for me) was difficult but fun none the less.

Also very nice reaction to the chain poster :)

TheMillz responds:

Lol thanks man. If you think I let him have it, then you should see what Porter did to 'em, lol...

By preference, I'm guessing your more of a "free roam" kinda player right? Like more-so then in survival mode, like move left 'n right, jump, collect coins, that whole bussiness? If so, and this is leaked to you, for the first time, you will find what ales you in part 3. Me 'n Matt are kicking around this really cool idea, and it's ganna be cool if we pull it off right. Stay tuned, and thanks again for reviewing! :D

constructive criticism

The game is fun, but I rated it slightly lower due to one downfall that I saw. I enjoy playing games like this a lot - in fact it is the reason i created an account here. Anyways, the one thing I saw that drove me crazy is that the way the character died in a lot of the situations. For example, the first death - he jumps then breaks his back on the pole.. wouldn't he have just slippped or missed and fell? Another situational death i thought was odd that when you were swinging acrossed the "monkey bars" on the ceiling he fel and impailed himself on the *only* spike below.. such a strange twist of luck. There should have been a lot of spikes below so it didnt look situational.

Im sorry - I picked the game apart only because I liked it. ;)
Can't wait for another one.

TheMillz responds:

Not a problem! Hell, I realized those thing myself when animating it...but I had this back breaking sound effect I just HAD to use, besides, you gatta ask yourself, would it be as cool to see him fall off-screen for you to "presume" he's dead? Or do you wanna see it happen? As for the spike, it was for comical ( as in, wow, what luck! ) and morely gameplay reasoning there. I needed more chances to die, to make it more interesting. If you hav't played ep.1, you should give it a once over, there are other deaths like this you can probly pick apart, be my guest!

And thanks for your reveiw, means alot ;)
