Reviews for "Catching the Ball"

Hmmmm.

Horrible. But ill cut you some slack due to the fact that its you first submission. 1 Star.

wow...

originaly, i thought, right its 5.2 kb, no way its going to be good. I was proved wrong when i played it, its quick to load AND its quite fun... maybe you could change the ball (from say a ball to a beach ball) or a fun version- a cahinsaw and whoever catches it gets blood or something, otherwise, it was really good

JoAlice responds:

Thanks! I made it 5 kb in favor of dial up users. A chainsaw would up the file size by a lot if I made it, it would take a couple of frames and countless paragraphs of actionscript. The beach ball would be easy, but It'd take quite a few more tests if I were to add any effects.

Thanks for reviewing!

lol

...i just spent 20 min on ur little gadget, and i got to say, it was fun!

JoAlice responds:

Even I was engrossed in it until I got a little hungry. I must admit. Heheh, my sister and I have knack for entertaining.

GREAT!!!

but it would have been better if you couldnt control the ball

JoAlice responds:

Thanks! I worked on it enough already though, I'll be tuckered out if this pace keeps up. Just the scripting made me tired, then come to find out Andrea364, my sis, had to re script it from scratch because it wouldn't work! So I don't think more scripting would be a good idea unless she does it. Heheh, glad you had fun with it!

I really hope this survives.

It was very well done and just...chilled me out for a few minutes.

I'd love to see this idea expanded on...though I wouldn't want it turned into like.. a game as such, where you have to get 'x amount of passes in the time limit'...what about, where the ball has to be passed from one point to another, but for whatever reason some passes don't work, and so you have to figure out the right path?

As I said, I'd love to see this expanded on.

JoAlice responds:

Yeah, I might actually do that. Thanks for reviewing!
