Dude that sounds pretty god damn good, keep it up man

ZachPayne responds:

Thanks, glad to hear!

Hey its me Darkipod96!

Anyway the kick seems to be just a bit flat. Try to add more bass behind it. Maximus should do it :D
Your buildups are amazing as always, but they take a little too much time. Try shortening them by 20 seconds and adding an outro if needed. The melody was amazing, but the synth didn't make it show its optimal performance. LAYER IT WITH EFFECTS! Nothing beats effects. Chord progression was awesome, and Im really trying to figure out what it is. Could you send me the saved melody file? Could really use it. Bass was an interesting choice, and it complements the song well, but it needs more bass. Right now it feels as though its just a sound in the background. I feel as though the lead could use a slight delay as well. 10/10 as everything listed above is an opinion.

ZachPayne responds:

Hey thanks a TON for the good feedback. I really appreciate it!! Helps me a ton man :)

Wow...

...best song I've heard in a while. My favorite part was 1:35 and on. The lead synth you used from 2:30 to 3:39 and again from 4:33 to 5:42 gave me this really happy feeling. This earns a 5/5 ; 10/10. What was going through your mind when you made this, btw?

ZachPayne responds:

Thanks a ton man! Really happy to hear that! And what was going through my mind? Well I felt like really optimistic while making it. :D

awesome

awesome song, love ur music keep up the great work.

Worth your listen

I would say that the piano arpeggios are a little bit too soft when they come in. They need a little more presence until the synth lead comes in. I would've enjoyed a bit more experimentation and embellishment of the melodic line.
The sonic texture switches worked for the most part.
All around solid work.
