first things first. hamsters, emo is an offshoot of punk that came in the early 90's. it was just as fast, sometimes slower, same kind of stuff, just more emotional. it came more from your experiences and feelings than from political anger and drive.
and now for the part where i review the song.
dude, this is pretty amazing. i would definitly buy a cd when it came out, and would defintly want to see you guys live. its very guitar driven, even when the guitars are very soft backround stuff. it adds so much, especially the lead. it is such a melodic compliment for the rhythm guitar. and the use of harmonics in the end is pretty inventive. not many people do that these days. and your drummer is exactly in time, and your singer's vocals are very good. a good sense of melody and harmony. i especially like the scream in the end. it adds a feeling of loss to this song, and as far as i can tell that is the overall mood of the song. and now, if you'll excuse me, i need to add this masterpiece to my ipod now. keep writing this kind of stuff, and your band is going to go places. amazing vocals, lyrics, guitars, and drums. pm me when you guys come out with a cd.
