Reviews for "The Myth Of Sisyphus"

Pretty, Unique, and Amusing, but...

I wish you didn't have Sisyphus grunting so much. It got very annoying. I understand you're trying to better illustrate how much strain he has in pushing the boulder and such, but the grunts don't sound right. I mean, imagine how annoying Bitey would be if he constantly made noises like that.

But this is still in my personal top twenty flashes in terms of art and animation.

Simpily amazing

Good work dude.

That was great. I like the main character. I feel...a new series coming out?
the artwork was just awesome. When i saw the armpit hair, i noticed, "He got everything."

Well keep it up. 5/5

CatFat responds:

I love that you noticed the armpit hair lol!
You may be seeing a sequal at some point, but of course a different myth, setting, character ect.

Awesome Movie

It was very good, i loved the end where that guy just threw him down the hill during the credits. One thing i dont understand is that a lot of the movie was very well animated and looked great while, other parts of the movie, were not as good. If you put as much effort as you did on the great looking scenes into the ones that were not as good it would have been even better.

CatFat responds:

I have to agree with u on that i did end up rushing it a bit because i was so keen on getting on with my series that i've wanted to do in animation for 3 years!

I love your intepretation of Camus' work.

This was an excellent rendition of "The Myth of Sisyphus". What a coincidence that I just finished reading that book a week ago. I believe you even showed the absurbism that Camus intended quite well, though I'm not sure as though that is how I would have choose to represent it. Nevertheless it was delightful and I'm glad to see an artist that appreciates existentialist fiction (though Camus would say he wasn't an existentialist). I would love to see you turn Kafka's Metamorphosis into a flash work, with your own spin of course. All in all a great piece.

Not bad

Keep practicing and you can only get better, there were some minor issues, but I think overall it's a fairly solid project.

thats what i plan on doing! thanks :)
