do i hear sounds from old westwood games??? lol, this is a pretty beast game, the only down side is having to restart when you fail, and the game is obnoxiously hard. good job anyways

Challenging game
Managed to beat it, though it took several tries. Fun, though I think a lot of the curves of money/difficulty/cost need to be adjusted. Honestly I made it by the skin of my teeth and really only because I did the minimum in the first 3 rounds and to get the first laser ASAP then maxed out my workforce to build the rocket at max speed. I did like the playing between ammo and project but I find the balance was awfully fine and that paths though the game were limited. Perhaps to consider, money alloted though salvage of alien ships; per kill/size of kill, and the possibility to affect personnel to repair duties. A longer campaign would also allow for more opportunity to try bigger weapons.
