Reviews for "StarFox excelent adventur"

Pretty good, but not what I was expecting.

That was pretty good and had some really funny and good points. But I was hoping to more refrences to the annoying and repetitive game play, the needless running around, and that after Krystal is saved by fox, instead of helping in some maner, she reclaims her staff, and fires wildly into the air.

Not only that, but the lame attempt at making her and fox an item even though fox talks to her like three times telepathicaly, if even that, and hardly talks to her afterwards. Making they're relationship almost non-existant. ROB's comment about fox's temperature rising at the end was a real good jab to make.

Or the simple fact that they're on a dinasaur planet. How lame is that? Dinosaurs stop being cool when your like 8.

Your animation was pretty good. could use some work, but hey I can't do flash period so where do I get off right?

RogerregoRRoger responds:

Well I did notice the things you say, but I couldn't think of a good way to work it in the story.
Sadly, about 60% of the jokes in this movie aren't worked well into the movie as well, so basicly I just fucked up majorly here ^^;

I give you acknowledgement.

Now I don't really have any animation skills to show for, but you really need to work on your animation skills. I suggest that before you make another episode, or another flash animation that you work on making walk cycles at least for the characters you plan on using. Thats my suggestion for you, you can worry about the other stuff later.

Humor wise, it was ok. You've fallen into the whirlpool or unoriginal jokes, but its a start.

The audio was very well done, in which the lip sync was also ok.

I'm not all too inclined to watch it again and again, but your visuals did grab some attention and I watch it. I've seen far worse, and it looked like a fair amount of effort was put into this animation. Keep on working on it, you'll get far better though if you do basic animation skills before you just go and make a movie.

RogerregoRRoger responds:

If i've fallen into a whirlpool of unoriginal jokes, that sounds more like the end then "it's a start" doesn't it ^^;

Sorry i disapointed you, better luck for me next time then.

It was great, but you left one thing out.

You never explained to us why Krystal can't enjoy her sandwich!

RogerregoRRoger responds:

Huh?
I don't remember anything of a sandwich in the game ^^;

Good but definitely not without its flaws.

There were some good things, and some bad things throughout this movie, but the final product still did manage to be entertaining. To start: I had mixed reactions about the visuals. While the drawings themselves were very nice, they was not quite enough to hold them up. The animation was a little awkward for me, all the movements were stiff and the characters didnt seem to have any limbs. The backgrounds did their job, but i would have still liked to see some more detail in them. Sadly, according to your authors comments you didnt draw the main characters/the spaceships: the things I found impressive. The sound was actually quite decent. The voice acting could use some going over a little here and there as well as the audio quality, but for the most part the sound effects and voices worked really well. The humour was alright at first but it kind of grew stale before the movie ended because each joke was pretty much of the same type: pointing out the games flaws in sentences. The jokes werent exactly incredibly original either.

This critique is just something that gives the wrong impression in my eyes, the movie seemed rushed for a few reasons. While the visuals, sound and the sheer length of the movie suggested there was effort put into it, the subtitles had many spelling errors and didnt really always match up with the dialogue. Another thing is you didnt have a real title, which makes it look a little less professional.

Overall, despite my many critisms, this was a fun movie to watch and there is plenty to say about it. I hope with your next submission you can improve on some things to ultimately better your score! 4/5

RogerregoRRoger responds:

Okay, thanks for your comments man.
Of course only the art I didn't make were good, why do you think I hired other illustrators to begin with ^^;
Tough by having someone else draw them, I was limited with movement freedom in the characters, resulting in the stiff animation.

Ah well, glad you liked the movie in general.

could have been better

i t was planned to be great but ur missing a few mthings and really pulls this flash down

RogerregoRRoger responds:

Sorry, but I can hardly animate the entire story ^^;
