Reviews for "Multiplayer Snake 1.02"

Nice game

Problem is:
When I join a game, it screws up so either I can't play or I'm the only one who can play.

WOW NICE...

TIP: IMPROVE TURNING (REACTION TIME)

BUT ON THE WHOLE IT WAAS GREAT!

Great potential

This game was a lot of fun. This adds the spicing up that Snake (my favorite old school game) has needed for ages. The only thing I ask of you is more, what a jerk I am, to be so pleased, and to still want more.

Suggestions are:
Make death mean something. Currently you lose no points or anything. You could make death have you either lose a flat amount of points, say a hundred. A percentage of points, say 25%, or what I would prefer, have the person that you ran into GAIN points. This lends a really competitive feel to it, and it's less like playing 10 games of snake side by side.
Also I'd implement a few new game modes. Survival, mostly. Just don't allow people to respawn, and whoever lasts last wins. The idea of a thunderdome of Snake is too good to pass up.
Other than that I like the game. The snake movements are a bit boxy, but in this kind of game 10 snakes with fluid movement would slow down a lot of computers, so I wouldn't change it for anything. Thanks for making such a fun game, please update it regularly and you'll get a lot of support.

Good idea, though it does need some fine tuning.

The game was fun while I played it, and it did seem to work just fine when I was playing it. The idea is a good one, and while it does need some adjusting here and there the game still managed to be fun. The visuals were probably a little too simple, except for the menu and chat windows. The snakes were just different coloured lines, but I can imagine how difficult it is to make detailed snakes while making everything run at a playable framerate. The actual gameplay is the area I felt could have been improved for a few reasons. To start, the game ran a little slow in general, the snakes weren't smooth flowing like they usually are in Snake Games. The controls were also a little bit unresponsive, taking a little bit of time to move. Lastly, when you started a game you were sort of thrown right into it, and it was kind of hard to tell which guy you were at first, even with the names on top.

Overall the decent execution of this great idea was enough to make this game fun, for at least a little while. Keep on improving!

=D It worked for me!

But there was only one non responsive person on. =(
