No but seriously now, The part of my flash that you have pointed out is acctually not completely of my own creation in that in the original anime and even the manga, Zaraki Kenpachi has an obsession with fighting. While I didn't see him rub Ichigo's sword during the fight, he seems to enjoy getting cut up if it means he can have a proper fight. I guess I was trying to place that aspect in my animation with a bit of humour (it probably didn't work).
