Good job. This is incredibly good for a first timer. Practice a bit and you could become one of the better flash artists on NG. You have real potential.

That was really good, i liked the way you did the explosions which i would expect from someone who do games for a job... However, the thing is varied, i.e. the house looks like it was done in 2 minutes but the sea looked like it took 10 minutes coz it has far more detailed...
Also, very stereotypical, like what else could the rocket do? (i would have thought that at the end, something would have dropped out of the sky and killed him rather then the "the end" sign knocking him out...) The sky deserves more detail too, (i think i know what tutorial you used) Otherwise, it was really good but could improved on...
