Some of mofunzone's best!
It's so strange playing this because at first you think it is going to be a role playing game. I do in fact like these kinds of games a lot more than RPG's, anyway. It is not often you have such a stereotypical demon being the hero. It is cool how you do not die by having the red thing hit the ground but by being hit by things. It is almost as if there are two games at the same time and one of them already plays itself. The color and pixellation is just of the right quality to be played at this file size, too.
Fun game
-To begin, the music is very moody ont the typical and annoying 'techno hard rock' that usually accomanies a game where you're the bad guy. It's tasteful, interesting and a little epic.
-Further, the stats and leveling make it have high replay value. on one run, you might do the unholy skills only, on another, you might upgrade a single skill. I prefer to use Bless and strength... but that's me.
-The game is very challenging in the later levels. I can see why sevenups thought the game was easy, when the game starts out you can position yourself in the middle and wait until the next level. But once you have the angels floating down the screen and the... um... chalices?.... aiming halos at you, it gets hard. Trust me.
-The graphics are very good, remind me of old nintendo games while not feeling too aged and the explosions rock. the way the shadow orbs fade over time and soon become nigh invisible make it look like the very shjadows are hitting the blocks and killing the angels-nice touch.
