MetaKnightX here again, I Know! I'm ACTUALLY ON THE FLASH PORTAL PAGE! WOW! I know I know, calm down , just because I give the best darned music reviews on Newgrounds (the listeners have spoken for those of you who are "Flash Portal onlyers"( I am an "Audio Portal Onlyer")) does NOT mean that I don't OCCASSIONALLY write reviews for some of the funniest and hottest flash on NG!
Now listen up folks, if you've been living at the bottom of a grindylow pond (read the last Harry potter for that one) and HAVEN'T seen "Press Start" on NG's front page NUMEROUSE TIMES, or the various other "press start" episodes on NG, get swimmin for some air guys. In my opinion, all "Press start" entertainment episodes are funny, WAY witty, clean, historically and politically correct, entertaining, AND delightfully EVIL.
In THIS episode, we are taken to another hilariously evil encounter with the Nefarious "Count Vile", who is YET AGAIN plagued by an old nemesis from an earlier episode. The one None other than: Pac Man!!!!
The humor, as in all Press Start episodes, is clean for the most part (that nasty Plumber Pete....eeewww), and is VERY funny. Not stupid funny, but Witty and classically funny, the kind that leaves you with the MOST substance and feeling afterwards; making Press Start one of the most memorable Video game parodies you will ever see in you life.
Along with are classic video game spoof characters, we also have the delightful character development we see happening between characters in the series. This includes the most recognizable and loveable character relation in the series between none other than the evil overlord Nefarious Vile and his "evil" assistant Johnson. In this particular episode we see the classic and EXTREMLEY WELL DONE conversation between the sniveling Johnson and the Furious Vile sky rocket into that exciting moment when we ask "what's going to happen to Poor Johnston now?", and then laugh our heads off at what happens next. ITS CLASSIC! Among others, my favorite relation has to be Johnson and Vile because everyone knows, WE LOVE TO HATE THEM!! Those villains.....
I would like to personally thank the creators of the Press Start series (as should any of my readers who have watched and appreciated this) for putting so much thought and time into their episodes, as well as providing hours of entertainment and running gags for me and my music and video game loving friends. It is truly heart warming to know that you are still submitting, and also still submitting the very top quality flash that I expect NG to recognize and become.
SO WATCH THE REST OF PRESS START AFTER READING THIS OR SEEING THIS ONE, THEY ARE ALL GOOD!!!!!!!!
