I hated to blam this, but here's why...
If this was a finished product you would have gotten a way higher score. I liked the drawings and the animation was pretty good as well. Nothing to complain about there.
Audio wise, the music fit the tone of the movie great, but there was no dialouge to go with the lip syncing. That cut the score down a lot.
I know you stated this was not a finished product, and just a test of style or something, so maybe it should have been submitted as an alpha. You also said you won't ever finish this, which is kind of sad, because it was a good start, but if you feel you can do better than go right on ahead.
So as I blam this from the portal, it's only to save room for the better animations you can create.
Sets you up and then gives nothing
I thought the graphics were great. The music seemed very appropriate. But then, when you expect something to happen, the movie ends.
During the boat scene, it would be better if you showed either a change in the scale of the background or foreground to simulate rowing.
Sorry, but you can't expect me to give you a good score if you leave me hanging like that. Finish it!
Not my cup of tea
I am not a big fan of this flash. Even though the characters aren't saying anything, it doesn't mean you can just have their mouths constantly going in the same motion. The music was pretty decent but I doubt you made it so all there really was was effort there. You never showed the people's legs when they were walking either. Bobbing up and down=Laziness.
