Very Epic Battle Fantasy like.

It's got that Boss battle RPG kind of music if you know what I mean. Hell I would'nt be surprised if he uses it if there is going to be a fourth. Nicely done my good man!

Musical-Pants responds:

My thanks to you sir! That would be awesome to be in Boss Battle...

Tear Drops

You can't ever go wrong with Massive Attack. Tear Drops is one of their best for sure and you did a wonderful remake! :D Excellent work!

Musical-Pants responds:

It doesn't sound a whole lot like the original, but I gues that is the point of a remix. Thanks for the review! I just tried to do Teardrop justice.

Now this is what comes to mind!

I stand alone, silent and watchful.

This once vibrant and life filled city is nothing bust dust and echoes. Mankind's proudest achievement wiped from the face of existence in one fell swoop. As I gaze over the silent vale, the horizon scattered with the skeletal remains of once heaven piercing spires and buildings I wonder, I wonder where she could be. My love, lost somewhere in this desolate graveyard of humanity. My thoughts are abruptly ended by the sound of footsteps that resonate through the rusted steel of hollow giants. I turn my head, my cloth covered face lifts up from my chest as I gaze at a figure walking toward me. I lift my hood over my head and walk toward the mysterious shape. With every step we come closer to one another, nothing but the solitary wind cascading over my dark outline is heard. I stop but meters away from what now appears to be a man in a blood stained jacket, he is wearing a gas mask with one of the glass eye sockets cracked. Holding a blade wrapped with rags he opens his mouth to speak "Well, well, it seems I have found me some food. I have to ask, how do you want to be cooked? I prefer well done..." Two other men slowly appear from the ruins behind me. The figure continues "...but my boys prefer medium rare" I glance over my shoulder and see two skinny men holding metal pipes. One with dark hair and the other a bald, shorter man, both have crazed looks in their eyes. The begin to walk toward me tapping the pipes with their bony fingers. I look at the man in front of me and in a clam tone reply to his statement
"I have no quarrel with you stranger. I do not wish to harm you or your friends. You seem desperate but I cannot help you" The man looked at me up and down, then over my shoulder to his two companions
"Harm us, Ha! We outnumber you 3 to 1. What chance have you got. We haven't eaten in seven days and you are not going to stop me getting what I want! Look around you, there is nothing left, we are starving and you are the closest thing to food. So just shut up and let me gut you!" Taking a deep breath I walked toward the man and spoke
"If you wish to fight I will have no choice but to retaliate. A situation that will only end in death for yourself and your comrades"
"Fuck you!" The man shouted as he lunged toward me holding his blade. In a heartbeat I moved to the side, grasping his hand and snapping his wrist. He let out a scream of agony as he crumbled to the floor. His two friends charged at me from behind. Lowering myself to the ground I picked up the blade dropped but moments ago and plunged it into the dark haired man's abdomen. Pulling the blade from his wound I circled my body and drove the now blood stained blade into the throat of the other man. With all my strength I pushed the blade ever deeper then pulled it to the right. Warm blood gushed from his neck and he fell to the floor shaking. Walking over to the other wounded man I placed my hands over his nose and mouth preventing him from taking another breath. His frantic kicking caused the dust to shroud his face. I pressed ever harder as his muffled screams slowly became quieter and his feet stopped kicking. I stood up and tuned around to face the final man. Holding his wrist he looked up at me with fear in his eyes
"What, what, the hell are you?" I walked toward him as he tried to crawl away. Grabbing him I turned his over and looked into his one eyes through the cracked glass. He began to shake as I placed my hands on either side of his head. I moved my mouth closer to his ear and whispered
"I am, a survivor" Clenching hard I twisted my hands. The silence was broken by the loud crack of the man's neck. Kneeling over the body I let out a sigh of sadness and regret. I knew that killing was what had to be done to find salvation in this hell. I needed to find her, and I had come to terms with what I had to do finally hold her again!
(Camera pans upward slowly then pans backward through the shells of buildings. The figure becomes fainter and fainter. It then slowly fades to black as the last wisps of wind fall silent)

Musical-Pants responds:

Holy. Crap. I have no idea how long it took you to write that, but I am absolutely thrilled that my song moved you to put your thoughts into words. I always love it when people put real heart into their reviews. You have one hell of an imagination! Thanks a BUNCH man.

very nice!

i would like to use better words to describe how i feel about this song, but im kinda awe-struck by it, it definitely sounds great! :D

i can tell you this much... if i had any talent with flash and was capable of making a good game, i'd make one of a lone hero and definitely use this song in the game!

unfortunately, i suck with just about everything i do...

but i guess its the thought that counts, right? :P

hope to hear more from you.

Musical-Pants responds:

Nobody sucks at everything they do. Find something you are good at, if that doesn't sound overbearing and cliche. I, for example, suck at football. So I play golf. And video games. :D But anyway, thanks for the review! I wish I could do flash too.
