that was painful to play

A few areas? Considering there was one area of gameplay, I suppose it did get repetitive. However consider any other game. It sticks to the same formula, it doesn't suddenly switch from a fighting game to a shooting one. I understand though.

Simple idea but effective.
I liked the space level the best it was much harder than the war one especially the startd where it changes it zooms in. The songs were not very good though, but overall the game was nice to play.

The space level was the only one that was any good. The other stages covered the arrwos so you could not even see them come out of the center.

Well, the game is not much of a distraction, as it is annoying. Ya see, distractions, are something that makes your eyes move away from what you are doing, this was a bunch of stuff that made it impossible to see where the arrows were going.
Though it was annoying as hell, it was still fun to play, the spinning cross was very original, and rocker206 on that last song kicked ass. The arrows were kind of out of place, and didn't flow well with the songs and there were only four songs... but, you were making this for a contest so, thats cool. Overall, the game wasn't too bad, but, the arrows could be more into the song, and there could be some actual distractions.

You see, distractions and annoyances have a very fine line in between. We feared that if we made it anymore distracting people would complain, like Newgrounds people do. This was only made in 10 days so that's why there are only 4 songs. If the arrows were out of place then your PC might have been lagging (except for the third song, we know that was a problem). Otherwise thanks for the review, I'm glad that it was constructive criticism and not just a 13 year old kid going 'ur ghey lol'.
