Fate.... can be terrible.. and terribly wonderful.
'She saw her fate before her. She saw her past behind her. Then, as she chose, she didn't see anything at all; and it didn't matter... SHE GOT FIRST PLACE THIS WEEK!
Intro/Outro: The intro starts very strong and I know immediately that this is going to be a powerful, booming track. Very good job setting the mood. Wait... this song is only two and a half minutes!?!? This loops perfectly I didn't even notice the length! ...Obviously I did, but hey, my point is that this loop transitions better than any I've ever heard for this genre.
SFX/Beat/Synth: Speaking of transitions, I never heard once an idle point in this song. Usually songs without 'rests' are very tiring on the ears. This however, is as pleasing to listen to to me as trance and DnB. And trust me, I listen to A LOT of DnB. Anyway, your selection of instruments, heavy drums, wind, well-placed cymbals and greatly executed vocals just go to show why this got first place. Is there really anything else to say?
Conclusion: Well yes there is. The only ONLY pointer I have to give you is that to my ears the vocals and drums seem only a tiny bit too loud. They tend to drown out the sound of the other elements, but maybe this was your purpose and anyway, the vocals and drums sound great.
Great job, very epic, and a well earned 5. Keep it up!
