One of the greatest rhythm games since F2Jam V2
Rhythm games, as ever, are some of the most popular and most varied games on offer, and like the Guitar Heroes and DDRs of the console world stand above other console games, so does the F2Jam series stand above the rest.
When i played the original F2Jam it was one of the greatest games i'd ever played, and even by the longest stretch of the imagination i couldn't see how the game could be made better. I stood corrected on the day I discovered F2Jam V2 beta, marveling at the prospects of an even greater game.
Now as F2Jam v3 has been released i stand in awe of its brilliance!! Graphics-wise, it is a definite cut above the earlier games, running smoother and more brilliant than ever, the the star visualization the icing on the greatest cake I've ever sampled.
Style is ever an important issue when dealing with rhythm games and this game is absolutely oozing with the stuff. if the broad selection of music doesn't get you between the eyes, the near endless variation you can inflict upon yourself certainly will.
As ever, the tracks selected for this game xceed expectations! I honestly thought the tracks on the last two games were brilliant, and as ever new tracks create ever more diversity in a game already unstoppable.
Who needs violence in a game this awesome?!?! ;p
Well, what can you say about the interactivity that hasn't already been said? With over 4 million variations on the original game, how can you ever get bored with this. The added High score feature finally allows us to show off our skill to the rest of the world!
As the guy before me said, though not directly meaning to be humorous, how can you not laugh at mucking up a 200 note combo? Nor can i resist chuckling at getting grade D on what i think is my best attempt yet!
Overall, this is one of the greatest flash games i've seen in a long time. This has definately made my night and the top of my favourites list!!
