A couple major problems.

First of all, changing to Low Quality made almost no difference whatsoever. The game was just as laggy as on High. You need to put in a few Graphics Options, just basic stuff like no death animations (ie twitching severed limbs), no crowd animation (the moving crowd in the arena massively slowed down the game), etc. I understand one of you runs a graphics site, but there need to be ways to tone down the graphics. (8 for graphics because they were so good, they were bad.)
Second, some of the enemies were insanely overpowered on Easy. Even with the lightsaber, the shotgun, and as many grenades as I could afford, I couldn't beat the trio (BPK?) in story mode. The Girl's Uzi barrage took away about a third of my health bar each time, and when The Boy's grenade exploded, it stretched from the bottom of the screen to the top, leaving no room for maneuvering. The Pig wasn't so bad if you had a gun, he would just do a cyclone thing when you got close.
Finally, the 'password'. (This isn't a major problem, just a minor annoyance.) I searched through your site, but couldn't find anything about a password. Does it really exist?

Overall, awesome game. I'm glad someone's bringing back this genre. :) Good luck!

Ok, I'll say good but not great; not 1 of the best

It had good art work. It was a good concept. An age old style of 2d platforming with great sound and again like I said great artwork. But to be what you claim to be, one of the best of its type, you have to realize that your game mechanics and actual game content fall short of mediocre let alone ONE OF THE BEST. When I first got into the game I saw wow, all these stages to play through this game has to be fun. But then I QUICKLY realized its shortfalls.

1. the axe thing with lazer and chain gun... wtf is that? I know... just a very annoying guy to kill whom on the last level you must kill 20 of. His being present in each match made that match annoying and a pain to play. You can't even kill him quickly due to his going immune to attacks after each hit.

2. The weapons are extremely poorly done. Their attacks are preety much all the same. In fact, 3 action buttons in this game sucked. The way to change weapons was slow and irritating as when you got hit you had to restart the annoying method after getting thrown 10 feet by a punch or bullet.

3. There are not enough enemies.

4. The storyline is shallow and under developed.

All I can say for sure is that your self proclaimed best of genre flash game is simply not the best of.

SWEET GAME!! but i really get fed up with the difficulty it would be wayy betR is the is a blocking action but besides that it's AWESOME!! my favorite of ALL TIME!! (kinda funny too i would suggest more flying body parts lol)

Wow....

Amazing game probably my favorite game all week if not months, i don't know how long I've just sat here beating this game it's really amazing my only complaints are that there aren't more attacks for weapons, there aren't any maximum health boosts, and that when you walk into the enemy you automatically pick them up (kinda annoying it's be much easier designating a grab move), It would be even beater if you added moves like: W + B, D + B ect.... other than the lack of move this game is definitely very entertaining, GREAT JOB!
