Reviews for "Incubus Pulsum"

Yeah!

I finally made hard,but I didnt unlock insane yet^^
really addicting,great game

TOO HARD

I CANT DO EASY AND ITS SAPOST TO BE EASY FOR EASY! but still very good

This deserves to win.

It's fun, got good music, and it's challenging. The visuals are quite nice, as well. One of the few online rhythm games I enjoy playing.

im amazed

this is an amazing game. apparantly im really bad at it (like 20 tries tjust to [pass easy... lol) but i just love how dificult it is, its a great waste of your time, certainly was for me. i hope ya get 1st maybe atleast 2nd in the contest :P. the music in this is great, and the gameplay itself is pretty wicked. make one more difficulty, easier than yur easy and rename your easy and medium to hard and uber or sometin to make us nubs feel better >.>

I still can't pass insane!

But anyway, putting that aside (since it's supposed to be almost impossible), this was a pretty unique and original game. The graphics and UI were pretty nice looking, really gets you into it.

The mechanics were pretty interesting for a music game, having to hold down arrows and hit targets with the A key. It actually kinda seemed a bit like Guitar Freaks a bit, with the whole "hold down buttons, hit a different button when its time, get penalized when you do anything else" thing. But, your implementation of the concept and how it was applied with the atomosphere of the game made it seem quite original.

The music in this game was pretty good too. For some reason, I was expecting more "actual techno", but the rock songs you chose worked perfectly with the intensity of the game. Especially that Zelda remix, that was an excellent song!

The notes were on-sync pretty good, I didn't notice any major off-syncness. While I'm on the topic of notes, the notecharts were pretty good too! But, if you ever make a sequel, I'd suggest that you lower the sound quality to 80kpbs so you can fit more songs in, and that you add multiple difficulty levels to each song, and maybe a tutorial too. Also, I did find the game difficult at first, but once I caught on to it, I got better. I've 4'd all 3 of the main difficulties if you are wondering.

You may have wondered why I zeroed everything, good reason: I don't use the sub-scores anymore. When the redesign comes, it's going to be gone anyway. But, I'm now introducing my own scales which I can adapt for each game...so here it goes:

Music Game Ranking Scale:
Graphics - 9
Originality - 6
Music - 8
Mechanics - 9
Overall - 9

I just hope you win something good.
