It was good in all, but it seemed that more likely the opponent would get pieces instead of me. It was an interesting spin on chess thought.

reminds me of my childhood game
This game if im not wrong originates from chinese chess, a little childhood game that we flip the seeds over..(and yes.. chinese chess has the same no. of grids, adding a river). This improves it in terms of electronically and graphically.
Would love to see more animations and maybe even select ur own chest pieces..from dwarves elves etc :)

I just have one little problem with the gameplay. If you lose your king and queen in a fight then theres no way you can kill his hellfire queen. Sure pawns could kill the king but then the queen is top of the food chain so you might want to add a way to still win.

i only could beat the enemy when he was on the dumb mode...
i am just a loser but it was not a bad game i like chess and the your style here is very good.

The score you give should not be personal but a more proffessional based system.
The game's quite good, but seems somewhat basic and unpolished. Fun nevertheless!
