Perfection. I love the feel.
You inspired me with your songs, and this song is just great. The drums from the beginning, and the awesome 8-bit instrument. Though a bit repetitive, the captivating rythmn and choice of sounds to use keeps me dragging along. The bass is great, too. When I make music as good as you do, I will be truly satisfied.

I haven't listened to a bucket-load of your music, but I know that you have somewhat of a cult following on Newgrounds.
I'm loving the combination of the old school eurodance chord structure with tribal drum beats and classic trance orchestral elements. So the answer is yes, it will blend.
This isn't necessarily good or bad, but it seems like a soundtrack song trying to be a club banger. That's what I'm feeling in my vibes, anyway.

Afterburners is one of my favorites from you, and I can only just barely recognize it underneith all you've done. The original was repeditive, yes, but this is revisit is much less so... though repeditive is not necessarily bad in my opinion. It does seem like your current music style overpowers the old style you had when you created Afterburners, and I was hoping this would be more of a fusion of the two styles and sounds when I read your description. Can't have everything I suppose, and lightspeed is an excellent piece. Now revisit Outrun! Pretty please?
