It is beatable
There is a correct power level, and yes the clues are in the dialogue, but there's really not much to this. Adding a bunch of encounters would make it a little more playable at least.
Tips
For one thing, i tried all the wepaon power levels and he didnt die, so i dont think that even works...
Anyways, I'd look over my code if i were you. Also, maybe add some length to the game, such as maybe contiolling the ship and finding different stuff, and this guy is the end of game boss.
