I liked it, but I have no idea why it has such a low score! It just needs more animation like a walking cycle for the characters etc..

Not bad for a first try
Definitely begging to to remade once you have some more experience, but it actually wasn't all that bad for a first try. Work on the animation, and definitely plan out your writing next time.

1.learn sprites
2.find sprites of maplestory
3.remake this
4.get a really good score
5.make it a series

I think it was a great idea and a rather innovative one, to base your movie off of gameplay footage. For all the people that complain about the music. Thats the music that they play in Maplestory its not like he decided to use the crappy music. The story could have used more development I couldnt really see where anything was going. I do hope more movies are made with in game footage.
