Reviews for "Don't Stop Believing (Cover)"

Nice. :3

better then the original for sure. while i was surprised by the vocals (i thought it was just a instrumental) it adds alot to the song. Nice job. -thumbs up-

Nice

The instrumental is great, nice arrangement of this song by journey but there are some parts that i don't like with the vocals and im not talking about the clipping or the pops, but it's a personal view though im sure everyone else will love this track.

Nice Track just improve vocals!

Amazing!

Grats on making the top 5 two weeks in a row! I love your take on this song, keep it up man.

Wow this caught me off guard.

I mean it's NOTHING like I imagined I was like "ooooh it's going to have that same powerful upbeat lyrics and" I listen to it and like wooooah. I mean this isn't the first time an upbeat song is given a more serious vibe like heaven, everytime we touch, etc. But seriously though it's just...EPIC! *Cries*

Simply Amazing

This is my first audio portal review, heck I don't think I should even write this one. I know very little about music and the appreciation of it. Therefore, apologies for any ignorance.

First of all, I respect your bravery for giving a serious attempt to do a cover of such a well-known song. I've heard several covers by even professional artists and most of them are mediocre at best. I personally am not a fan of the original version of the song and only truly appreciate the song when sung by a passionate group of people.

Also, I am a sucker for Orchestra music and the use of harmonies. The sounds of drums and strings can leave me in awe like the sight of Justin Bieber for a typical teenage girl (maybe I should leave that simile out). That combined with yours clear but powerful voice, managed to create the feeling that I mentioned that I could only experienced when sung by a crowd of people.

However with that being said, my favourite parts are actually the slightly more quiet parts of the song. I think you sound the best during the lower keys, especially the first minute of the start which captured my attention as I was jumping from song to song across the audio portal. Maybe it's because of your manly voice? xD

There's not really any criticism that I can honestly make, seeing that I know so little myself. As I'm writing this, I can only think of more praises for this song. Excellent choice of instruments to convey the emotions of the song, nice gradual build up, awesome voice... I could go on. Also, there's something wrong with your MIC? I still can't tell after re-listening to this song for at least 8 times by now.

Thanks for the treat. This is definitely the most professional cover I've ever heard. Congratulations on making a truly unique cover of an already exhausted song.
