Time to tell you why Itachi let Sasuke win
Itachi knew about the power of Madara Uchiha(Bio of Madara:Killed his brother who along with him had Mangekyou Sharingan to obtain the Eternal Mangekyou Sharingan). Itachi touched Sasuke's forehead before his death, giving him a chain reaction Mangekyou Sharingan when Madara AKA Tobi would come(It's true Tobi is Madara not Obito, sorry fans). Which would allow him to use Ameteratsu against Madara. And I know this why, because in one of the manga's Madara AKA Tobi kidnapped Sasuke and Sasuke got Itachi's Mangekyou Sharingan and his eye bled while Madara experiensed 7000000000000000000000000000000000000 0 degre burns that time and Sasuke fainted. Then Madara with his mask had Sasuke tied up and told Itachi's whole life story, as doomer46 explained in his comment and cut the ropes and Sasuke got the Mangekyou Sharingan and plots to destroy the Leaf Village and join the Akatski (Spoilers to American people who don't go on Youtube). Awsome video to.

Sweet flash. And doomer, you're wrong. Itachi is a good guy, but it isn't all Uchiha's that are bad. Madara Uchiha (Tobi) got banished from the village. He secretly trained Itachi to kill the Uchihas. Itachi agreed becuz Madara was too strong. Madara actually helped Itachi kill them too. Later in shippuden, Itachi tells Sasuke about what really happened, and he lets Sasuke finish him off.
