Reviews for "Tower's Tactics: Throne"

good, but a glitch

it is one of the best games on newgrounds for sure, but there is a glitch. once u get the ability to make a 5th member of ur team, that member will be automaticly lvl 4. allowing u to delete all team members lvl 3 or lower and replaceing them with a lvl 4 member. just thought u should know.

Awesome game.

To the author, please don't listen to the people who just want "instant action"... There are literally a billion flash games out there to give you that. Plenty of people want more than just gore all over the screen!

Very few games have what you have created.

An Innovative and totally customizable leveling scheme, I love the fact that all points can be put in offense, or all in defense to create the character you want. Don't throw this out!

Good skill system, useful skills, easy to fire off (love the ability to autotarget skills with the shift key, wish starcraft/warcraft had that built in), only thing is, you need to show the character icons in the lower part of the screen(with lifemeters??? :)) so they can be clicked on to select the characters, it can become impossible to click on them during battle (as many have said). Also, hotkeys would be good.

The graphics and sound you have created are, with very little exception, amazing!

Please don't stop making games like this. This game is very awesome for a first effort! More complexity, not less!

Its been a while since someone reviewed this! Thanks for your review, and thank you for playing! I'll be sure to keep your suggestions in mind when making the sequel.

Best flash game, master it.

"I will definately remove the team modification system in the next version, and perhaps enact a maximum team size of 3 or 4, with a greater focus on better controlling a smaller number of units"

Why would you remove the team modification system? This attribute table is what makes the game! Any old game can have "instant action" and not much else to it. This program is well rounded, looks great, addicting, and INVOLVED. Yes, there is a learning curve but for me at least, it was about 10 minutes. I personally use two spearmen with 60/40 health/attack, and a monk and mage maxed out charge/skills to heal my spearmen and deal massive magic damage. These 4 created a perfect army who could smash, confuse, and heal there way throughout the game. I got to the Lvl 15 angel with 0 losses, although I can't seem to defeat this final foe. I know there is a trick to my Hero popping out when Chancellus gets low on health, but I will discover it, but in the mean time I love this game!

Suggestions:
Unit selection is a bit tough. When I need to select my spearman to step him back for healing, I pick the wrong one. The units need hot keys.
Don't make less units in a further version, make more. Diversity makes this game a pleasure, you give us more than 1 way to skin the cat.
When an attribute is 0, taking another attripute down should not raise the 1st attribute further. It took me forever to select "Health 0 Charge 30 Attack 0 Skills 70 Speed 0"
Once I defeat the Final Judgment, I hope I can continue through the game and level up my army (and of course challenge Kasayel). At the very least, let me start over with my existing men. I don't know, I will find out when I 'learn the tower's tactics' and defeat Chancellus!!

Thanks for your awesome review!

fun, confusing, and hard

This game was confusing im not sure if i was supposed to die wen fighting the angel or i just suck at this games. If i was supposed die then it was pretty easy and fun. Things u could improve on...
- like the others have said easier selection of units (like, the first letter of the name, u could press and tht unit will be selected)
-if the game is over say something like THE END

Dont get me wrong i loved ur game

Epic...yet difficult.

Maybe it is just because I've always been lousy at RTS games, but this was hard.

I really liked it, and it was very beautiful.

My favourite part was when I was in it. That guy who voiced the Hero sure sounded manly and intelligent.
