fun shoot 'em up game
Some reviewers were complaining about the blocking/dodging controls, I find them more than adequate. The game is relatively easy once you figure out a few quirks - mainly when the enemy is vulnerable to attack and when the enemy is about to attack. It is crucial that you are dodging just before the enemy attacks, or you will be hit.
The other trick is to not hold down the fire button but instead press it a lot so you'll keep auto aiming the most dangerous enemy. Anyway the graphics were pretty good, no real complaints, and they provided different enemies with new challenges. The sound got a little repetitive - that could be solved by giving the player new and better weapons as the game progressed. Anyway, mad props to the ending, lol.
It was ok...wouldn't play it again though
Well it was all right...I'm that big a fan of pico---whoever he is--but it would be nice if you had a fair shot on the game like adding a "block" button would be a HUGE help; the roll and backflip action don't do squat to help you avoid getting hurt. There's A LOT of work that needs to go into this game but adding a block button is the FIRST add-on you need to have. Add that then we'll see if it's any better.
