Cambo responds:

I will give myself a cookie, and I will eat it also.

Excelled [Not to be confused with 'Exiled']

Haha, wow.
You see, it takes a lot for me to give a really high votes usually. But it took only 40 seconds of humour, wit and skill to make me. This is now my favourite short flash series on NG by a mile.
Yes, it was your longest flash for 'Get a God', but it was your best.
Please keep doing what you're doing. Over-step the mark if you have to. These flashes are too good to miss.

-Mesmic

Cambo responds:

Mesmic, I'm really glad you're a fan, it's awesome to get this kind of feedback. I think I read a comment by Michael Swain (from Blockhead) and he said it's great to know you're not throwing these flashes out into a bottomless pit. That people are enjoying them is really cool.

I'd love to keep doing this - it's time consuming and really tasking, but I'm whinging too. I'm trying to get someone to sponsor this series so I can get paid to make these things - that would be brilliant.

I know it'd be cool to keep doing these forever, but it definitely wouldn't be cool for me. Next is the Director's Cut of this series (that'll be all four original shorts plus a bonus ep, some commentary and a bit of unused materials) then something completely different. I'll probably come back to this series in a second round of four + 1 guest writer, but for now let's just enjoy what's going on at the moment eh?

I think you've reviewed all my eps now, is that right? It's great to hear from you Mes, thanks.

Keep making more!

This is the first of yours I've seen, but after I watched this I watched the rest. They're all clever, witty, and well thought out. And the concept of parodying the Mac commercials was a nice idea too. Great job and keep up the good work!

P.S. I thought this was stupid cuz not all Windows users are atheists. THAX DUD.
(Just kidding, I just thought this review needed a clueless aspect like most of the others, hah)

Cambo responds:

Thanks mate, I'm glad you watched the series. I put heaps of thought into these, you're absolutely right, but it's exhausting too. I'm going to make one more for the time being, but I'm not writing it. Then I'm going to take a break and pull a James Cameron on you - make a doco.

It'll be cool though, don't worry.

Nice.

Good message. Nicely delivered.
The graphics were a bit off puting at first, the bodies were very dull...although that does play to your advantage by focusing the attention of viewers more on the characters facial expressions and what theyre saying, i dont know if that was your intent, but i guess its a good idea.
The style of this movie was well executed. Because the majority of this movie is dialogue, the quick zooms and cuts were done well enough and the dialogue wasnt boring.
Good quality voices....volient threat....good humour.
I liked it.

Cambo responds:

You know what, the whole body thing wasn't intentional (I seem to be the only bloke who likes the look of them) but I reckon you're right.

Yeah, too, it's all just dialogue. But I don't think that's a bad thing - it's a bit of a stretch sometimes because it puts more pressure on you to write well, but you have to deal with it, right?

Besides, how can you go wrong with violent threats?

Utter Rubish.

I myself am an atheist. But that is not the problem with this movie. It was too short to be good. "I'ma kill you" was funny, but that was it. It ended before it got good at all. The graphics were contradicting. The faces were well made, but the bodies were terrible. They looked like one huge blob with a head on it. That's about it.
-Baka

Cambo responds:

You've put some work into this review, so I'll respond as best I can.

You're saying you're an Atheist. That's fantastic. I don't, though, see how it relates to the quality of the film.

I don't see how graphics can contradict - they're consistently styled throughout, and whilst you say they looked like one huge blob with a head on it, they've actually got arms and legs and hands and feet, with a head attached (just like you, I'm guessing). And if that's part of the style I'm going for, and it's consistent, then there's nothing contradictory about it at all.

I'm sorry you didn't find it funny, but I don't see how that influences the 'Sound' or the 'Style' mark, which you've given a 2.

And you say the film was too short to be good - it's about 40 seconds, and you got a laugh out of it. So I definitely don't think that's a bad average, a laugh every 40 seconds. I'm happy with that.

You make no mention to the underlying ideas of the film, so I'm going to guess you didn't get it.

An utterly 'rubish', tendentious review.
But I'm glad you signed it.
