Reviews for "Submachine 4: the Lab"

Fantastic.

I've been waiting for this forever - I nearly started crying when I heard it wasn't going up till the 21st (I'm a lurker on your site forums). So worth the wait, though :D

Anyway, the first 3 were great and this one is no exception. I really liked the ambients and the atmosphere and such. It took me forever to figure out what the circle-square-triangle meant in the tomb, I thought it was just about that one part in the ancient area, but I figured it out (circles have infinite sides, not 0! ;_;) and got all the secrets with no help.

Nice touch with the bonus material, by the way :D inspiration is all around you if you just look.

One minor bug- I was going through the game again, and moving really fast because I knew what to do- on the roof where you start out, if you click on the hammer too fast to break the padlock into the window (before that little speech bubble goes away, telling you to break it) the game gets stuck, the hammer won't break the padlock and you can't put it away. I don't know, maybe I just screwed something up cause when I started again, I had no problems.

Loved the ending, too. Truly bizarre.

Can't wait till the 5th one. There is gonna be a 5th, right? D:

wow..................i am just amazed at how well this was done, i mean, ive played puzzle games like this but nothing even holds a candle to how well made and challenging this game is.

P.S. no i havnt played 99 rooms and it was a good idea to put elements of your life in here

I think i saw everything...

I think i got all the way through. I got to the part with the left right option, got all the secrets, saw the mini gallery of stuff that inspired things in the game (which was cool by the way). But one thing still bugs me. The bells. I found 3 bells. One in the lab, one in the ancient place, and one on the ship. Also there was a table with 4 cooresponding blocks that levatated, just like in submachine 1. But i never found the fourth bell. Is there really a fourth bell, or did you do that just to piss people like me off, who must know absolutly everything has been done before they are completly satisfied? Please get back to me on that! Other than that it was a great game, no parts where there was absolutly no clue anywhere as what to do next. Interesting ending "your work at the lab will start tommorow" Will there be a submachine 5? This was fantastic. Maybe even better than MOTAS. (point and click fans will know what i mean)

22 secrets

on the game you can pick up 21 secrets
but on the bonus room there is another secret

on advice:
everytime you see a bell, use it so the boxe stay in the air
there are four bells

The best was the pictures of your life and inspiration, congrats!
