only thing..
one thing that annoyed me was the spellin "the more goblins you kill the gold you get" "ot" - to its simple things like that , that get people and cause them to get confused or just quit a game. but i like it good work :)
It was preety good but...
good game I love games with rpg elements to them. The battle system got preety repetitive preety quickly, and unfortunately, this is very standard in these types of games. Maybe if you make a sequel you could add mor eof a variety of enemies (archers or something) and maybe add some buyable power ups or weapons like a bow or a fire spell. But, overall it was a preety good game.
Great I suppose. A glitch and some improvements.
Well there was this one glitch where I wasn't in range of the goblin's sword but he still hit me. You also need to improve some stuff. The whole needing to sheild in order to flip when flipping is you're best means of escaping large groups is not a very good idea. You should be able to just press the down button and then press the directional button you want to flip in. That's how most rolling/flipping button schemes are. You should also have some health pick up or something you can hardly complete the higher levels with out something like that. Getting knocked around when you get hit is a horrible idea. There were some times when the goblins would play tennis with Lex's body. You might also want to change the prices on stuff like swords and armor. It took me a while to gather up enough cash to buy that stuff. The pick pocket thing doesn't seem to give me any extra money. I used it and I still kept getting the usual three coins per goblin. Anyways, fix those things or change them and this game would be pretty perfect. I almost forgot, I gave you a zero for sound because I didn't have mine on.
Fun but overly simple
The game runs at a quick pace, the controls are simple and the game moves wonderfully fluidly.
The upgrades are fun at first, and its a pretty simple game to pick up and play
Against that it, its too easy, the 10 k sword stupidly over powered (riduclous speed damage and HEALTH DRAIN? Once you get it and the 10k armour pretty much not going to lose) and the game gets boring after you get those 2 items.
Also only 1 enemy type and prehaps you could have added a few more games.
Fun game all the same, love the engine. A seuqal to this would be awesome indeed
