Very good
A very good start, indeed here. You have a lot of things going for you such as gradient effects. The backgrounds were very lively and the character's overall looks were well done. The big issues I had were with certain animations. The main character's run animation in the beginning seemed really awkward. When close up, his hands swayed to high to his face. instead, trying having the character's head slumped at an angle and focus more on the animation of the hair movement. Far away, there was no character animation at all. styalize the distant shot by having flutter to the character's hair to give it a more fluid sense of motion. Other than that, combat was alright, but you could have done a bit more outside of the side profile view. Overall, the atmosphere was great, the effects were well done and the piece had a lot of style to it..there is a lot to grow on, but clearly you seem to be making those leaps. I like this piece a lot and can not wait to see what else you continue to do.
