I liked it.
Well, the guy before me was a douche, and probablyy spends most of his time running something like, 'The webs most dedicated DD site on the planet" and could not be more of a perfectionist.
I loved it, the animations were smooth, the sprites were well implemented, if slightly overused, and the hand drawn aspects of it gave it pizzaz and something apart from other movies like this.
Bravo, nice one.

In all my years on Newgrounds, I have never seen something that was full with as much effort as it was taking the wrong direction.
Let's start with the music. Double Dragon never consisted of these terrible lounge singers who got on stage with rock 'n roll artists. It consisted of hardcore guitar solos that jammed while you stuck your knee upside someone's nose.
Next, the graphics. The sprites were more impressive to me then the Dragon Ball Z style characters. The dark, shadier artwork was pretty good, but the changing of the red and blue gi reminds me of the awful, awful Double Dragon movie. Also, some of the moves, such as "killing Abobo with a picture" were too ridiculous to be taken seriously enough for the blood splatter that followed.
I do appreciate some subtleties. Reminding the viewer of old bosses, particularly the large, masked fellow from Double Dragon 2: The Revenge, was pretty cool.
Above all, I just don't like the cheery attitude and faces that were sometimes made. Double Dragon was a surprisingly serious and rather violent game series. I don't need to see faces that go "OMG I just somerassaulted j0! LOLOLOL ^_^"
If you're going to do anything more with Double Dragon, then take it seriously. Gang warfare, dark, brutal beatings and martial arts in urban areas. Not lounge singers and Dragon Ball Z moves.
When you're done crying, get this shit off the front page.

have you ever Seen hokuto noken? if you go read the wikipedia of DD, Hokuto no ken and DD have a lot in comment they are also based on the same Legen you dumbass, and this theme song is from hokuto no ken,(and for your ass if you dont know what Hokuto no ken is, its also named Fist of the north star -_-')

er, if you look trough my other submissions (rebaz talei) you can see i made 3 others DD movies wich was REALY serious, and had plenty of violence...you go check em out, maybe you will change your mind about how we think of DD.(i'm also going to PM you about this, cause your whining anoyes me , and i just want people too see my DD work...>_> i somehow care for the DD fans out there..)

Interesting choice of music, but it definitely did the job. Very well choreographed and synchronised, with some sweet ass moves! I'm in admiration of their level of fighting, which still remains on a human level while being sheer awesome. Although I've never played DD, you've inspired me to seek it out. Perhaps I shall some day =)

its on the NEs Snes and GBA,...serious DO NOT START WITH THE SEGA VERSION YOU MIGHT CHANGE YOUR MIND >_> , DD 1 is hard as hell, DD 2 is Realy fun and easier, but DD 3....is not for wussies..that game is HARd.....its harder then i got a boner from this DD collection, anyway.
