Reviews for "Legacy of Guy"

needs more

i felt it was a little empty, due to a lack of powerups or upgrades

also, i found a bug that when your health hits exactly zero, you dont lose a life, and you also lose the ability to shoot until you move into the next life

Grawsie responds:

Yeah, Guy's abilities will increase in the upcoming editions to include things like special movies and upgrades.

And thanks for the heads up about the glitch, I'm suprised you actually got Guy's life to land on exactly 0 but now that I think about it I'm pretty sure I know why that happens and should be able to avoid it in the future.

Thanks for the suggestions, take care!

wow...

bad ass game but it gets really hard :( xD still nice game

Hmmm.

Didn't expect to hear midi's, so I was thouroughly entertained just cause listentin to digital renditions of songs during a game keeps it seeming fresh.
The graphics, in the way that they were put together, gave it a rather odd, other-worldly type of feel.

Mediocre game

This game is the same as many other shooters. What it has for it is the strange concept, and creatively hideous though simplistic enemies. It would be nice to see those played out more; atmosphere darker with music to match it better, perhaps more to the story as well. Just like half the other games like this one, there is no upgrading system. This fact automatically lowers the drive to continue playing greatly. This coupled with the rather repetetive waves of enemies, it is amazing I made it to the first boss. Potentially a good game here.

Grawsie responds:

Thanks for the suggestions. The story actually will improve drasticly along the way, but the atmosphere will remain bizzar and abstract.

It appears that there's a lot of call for some kind of upgrade/power up system these days, which is why it's good that you people write things to let me know what you want.

Thanks again for your input, I'll see what I can do with it in the installments to come.

Mind the noobs, MIND THE NOOHOOBS

I like your original take on worn-out genres like the spaceshooter. But the thing is that the first enemy felt like a boss, so I was kinda annoyed when my entirte screen was filled with more powerful villains. There has to be a curve in difficulty, not just being hard. But hey, lot of more oldskool gamers will love it because of it.
