Excellent work
If only this could be the intro or ending credits sequence in a platforming game -that would be so cool. I'm not very good at explaining these kinds of things, but I mean to say that this movie not only introduces the character, but it also has that sort of rap-it-all-up feeling to it.
Well, anyway. On to business:
What I liked:
+3 The animation is fast paced, smooth, and fun to look at.
+1 The music has a good mix of "bouncy" and "hypnotic" (if my description makes any sense.)
+4 The character is likable. He seems to be having fun running around, and he doesn't act like a little jerk (he didn't attack the creatures that were running at his ankles, he didn't flip the middle finger at the camera, and he didn't do anything gross like spit or fart or anything.) he's a refreshing distinction from a lot of the other characters on NewGrounds.
+2 The world he lives in is full of fascinating geography and interesting animals.
... As a side note, I was wondering if you modeled this character after Baby Tarzan from the Disney's 1998-ish Tarzan.
What I didn't like:
Hmmm... Nothing comes to mind.
Everything worked, no bugs...
There was nothing but pleasant color schemes, no jarring eye-achingly bright strong colors...
The action was good, the music was good, the overall story was good, everything was good.
Possible improvement:
I can't think of where this video needs improvement, although, I suppose that you could add a "select chapter" button to the main menu. You might want to add an "Easter egg" at the end of the credits, although it's completely unnecessary.
Total score: 10 out of 10 stars.
