Need map, replay map button

Perhaps I am missing something, but it seems the only way to replay a map once you've missed it is to quit to the main menu and start over.

The other problem is that you can't see more than 10 feet in front of you especially if you're moving vertically. You need an overlay map that shows where you are and where the incoming walls are going to be, or else you need to just zoom out the view so you can see more.

Not that good

No handbrake, no opponents, mud that sticks you to the ground, humm...
Yes a few things were lacking in this game but it still is fun to play because the birds view racing concept never gets old.
Add opponents and HANDBRAKE, i mean, come on, nugnh, unf, you need handbrake in racing game, yes?

EyeFusion responds:

You use the handbrake by holding the down arrow. But thanks for playing the game anyway :)

Birds Eye View Racing Rocks!

Most games of these styles are to easy, but this was a challenge for 3 main reasons.

The first being the timer, you give the player barely enough time... which makes the game more intense and challenging.

The second being (and my favourite) that you can't just bounce of walls. Which is a good change, you can no longer bounce from wall to wall at 150mph in a Lambourghini Diablo without getting any damage. With the timer, this makes it far more interesting. The use of life is just great!

The last challenge is the track extras (Spills, barrels, blinding lights), you're now worrying about time and not crashing while avoiding these little tricks.

This game would be like an orgasm if it had online capabilities.

The game was set out so well, as mentioned. The visuals were great (Great cars by the way) and the animation was very fluent. Mixed with a brilliant soundtrack made this an excellent racing game.

So enjoy my 5, my request to have this in the 'Car Games' section.

EyeFusion responds:

Thank you so much for the compliment, I'm really glad you like the game =)

Cool!

Very cool game! Must have taken a long time to make. Very smooth handling and great customization features. Reminiscent of the old Amiga game 'Nitro', which you could check out for more ideas if you don't know it already.

Some suggestions that would make the game better imo:
* bigger screen size (would allow more accelleration)
* perhaps a mini-map feature in one corner
* more powerups on the track, for instance money that could be used at end of level to upgrade the car (tyres, engines, bumpers, etc.)
* Oil pools on the track that makes the car spin uncontrollably for a few seconds.
* AI opponent cars to race against, or multiplayer competitive race mode (ambitious)

Great job, overall. I'm adding this to favorites.

EyeFusion responds:

Thank you for the suggestions and the favorite :D
I thought bigger camera would certainly lag the game, and it would take me forever to figure out how to make the upgrading system, mini-map and AIs. But when I gain enough AS experience in the future, I'll make a more interactive sequel with the feedbacks people gave me, and hopefully a multi-player version like you said.

Nice nice

Pretty damn nice.

Only a few niggles.

The flashbang type things are slightly annoying, perhaps reduce the time theyre on for? 90 degree turns are swell in smaller amounts but if you get some speed up its like argh!

Other than that, I love this, I wanna play it again o_o

EyeFusion responds:

sure thing, I'll take that into consideration also. Thanks for the comment =D
