The funniest flash movies are usually the shittiest flash movies...but not everyone feels like I do. I'll agree with you on the sound compression. This is only the 100th+ movie who's subject matter is "how to make the portal better". The portal is a festering bowl of dog vomit and I want seconds!

good sound tip
the tips about the sounds are helpful, but the other instructions i think won't help too much. first of all, the flash help file already teaches how to do these. second of all, without a guiding hand or screenshots, i think it's just more confusing. thirdly, i think people out there should just fiddle around with flash to learn it :). I think you should continue making tips, but not really teaching.
True, there is a help file inside Flash, but after seeing the number of horrendous flash movies I see here every day, 95% of the people probably don't read them anyways.
Secondly, I decided when making these movies that I would try to make them as small as reasonably possible so users could open them up in just a few seconds rather than a minute, so the screenshots had to go. :(
People SHOULD fiddle around with Flash to learn it, true... I'm just offering a little advice to help speed them along.
