Not bad, but it needs a few things:
1. You need to have MORE LIFE--or not take so much damage when you get hit. You take 3 hits from an archer you're done.
2. You need to be able to avoid the arrows better, maybe try putting in a shield or dodge command (like hit the Spacebar with the Left or Right arrow keys for a Defeseive Roll) or at the very least allow him to duck so you have a slight change to avoid getting hit.
3. Give him upgrades, like Fire Arrows, Ice Arrows, or give him Bows with different effects like you can stun or pou an enemy to sleep for 10 seconds. Take a page from some of the D&D Games and give him some extra "OOMPH!" with his Bows and Arrows.
4. Each fallen enmy gives him gold, that way you can buy/equip better shileds--if you'll allow one--of even armor--again if you'll allow that little twek to the game--to better protect yourself.
That's about it as for as what it needs, other players might see a few more thigs that I didn't and here a little advice to first-timers: Try to get in close to your enemies--not close enough they can hurt you, but close enough to get a kill shot--before letting an arrow fly. Build up your power to max and go for a head shot to take them out with one hit. Also to to "force" the archers to fire. Stay in one spot until the archer fires the move, in, FAST, for the kill; this gets tricky when you got other guys around so try and take the archers 1-on-1 if you can.
All in all a good game, just try some of the tweaks I mentioned if you make a third installment or re-do this game.
