Reviews for "HW - But Now You Say"

mt. eden

This reminds me of Mt. eden, both very relaxing to listen to.
Great job!

What dubstep should be

This is the essence of dubstep to all the uneducated fools who think the 'wubs' should be louder have obviously never heard of the likes of benga or skream, and only listen to doctor p, datsik, rusko, flux pavillion etc, etc. The piano is deliciously warm in the mix and the drums have been compressed perfectly and are quite punchy, the wobbles aren't 'gnarly' 'dirty' but compound the sycopation of the beat and add abit of grime to the classiness of the piano and the vocal samples. Before you review try to understand more about the genre, more about production and just listen to music with an open mind and not be a such a genre nazi.

Really really relaxing man!

I consider this to be one of the best songs ive heard, as it is so beautiful in its simplicity. It basically massages your eardrums. This song is great, it doesn't need to have hardcore wubs to be dubstep, as this song proves haha. Its smooth, flows beautifully, and calms the mind with sensitive sweetness but reinforces it with that firm bass. All in all, great song! keep up the great work, and continue making such beautiful music. If not for me, for ears everywhere. 10/10 5/5

So, pretty awesome

Listening to this while I'm doing other things is pretty awesome, but when I sat down and listened to it, it seemed just a little long and got a little boring. Still super relaxing and has a great feel to it. I'm just glad that there's people out there that realize that dubstep doesn't have to be super wobble/wub heavy.

Fix the piano

Great stuff, but the piano is way off. In the beginning part, the piano chords are too choppy, and sounds kind of amateur (01:07 - 0:130). Then in the calm part, the piano doesn't have any rhythm compared with the rest of the song, and it's in another tempo, which doesn't sound too hot either (01:30 - 03:14). I know it's supposed to be some sort of freeform, but even then it should follow the beat established. THen it goes back to the choppy chords. I would recommend including a more prominent repeater or fader sound to merge the chords together. I know the piano can be better, and then the song will truly be what I consider it already... amazing!
