Good, better than most.
Graphics - Well done. Especially the 3D effect you got with the layers. Very nicely done.
Style - It chokes of pulp anime. All things considered, though, you still have time to set yourself apart from the rest.
Sound - Very nicely done! I would mail you my left arm to get the source of those mechanical sounds( (jk).
Violence - Gargantuan robots that kill stuff. Need I say more?

Story - First of all; you have committed an evil in story telling. The robots can be seen to have no purpose other than to kill stuff, which works for a short while, but they are much easier to identify with when they have a motive.
Second - your hook is good (the guy with the robot) so long as you explain it in very short order. He cannot remain nameless and identitiless forever. Even if the main character knows nothing at least tell the audience something about him. Maybe he's looking at a picture or something, maybe we see a scar. Something to let the audience know a thing or two so this guy is no longer wholly a mystery (some mystery is ok).
Right, I'm rambling.
Good job on the whole. If you execute the rest well it should turn out to be an enjoyable series which has been lacking lately.

Love the animation.
It's so detailed, and it was pretty smooth. And it actually had a good story.
Pretty decent.
I won't even bother elaborating on how dull the un-original plot and backdrop is (giant robots from space? A fascist military country with all the power?).
The animation started smooth at first, but got a little choppier during the second half (with the introduction of the robots). Even at medium/low quality it wasn't as smooth as it should have been.
Other than those two nitpicks, pretty good.
