Reviews for "SMB 4: The Beach"

KEWL!

ITS awsome, but when it showed the battlefield after the fight, there should have been more dead ones, but overall 8/10

Could have been better.

If you were making a WW2 Spirite movie, use the Metal Slug guys....they look exactly like the allied soldiers who landed on the beaches of Normandy.

Although I havent seen the series, I believe you could have integrated the items drawn in flash a lot better. The objects you drew or animated in flash were a great deal lower quality then then spirites, and it lowered the overall feel of the flash.
I also didnt like how you only had a few guys on the screen at once during the landing scene...the landing scene should feel impressive and epic and sadly it fell a bit short.

Overall, it was decent and original, but it fell short in the long run. 5/10

well its not WW@ sprite movie, It A mario serie based on a war between the MK and KK (Koopa kingdom) that takes place in a time where both sides have 1940 themed technology. And Just cus its storiming a Beach doesnt mean its a WW2 movie Storming Beaches is a type of battle and D-day was not the only one(Tho it was very important), And the loading screen is sumthing i put just so ppl wont say i was mocking Dday (i guess that sorta backfired on me tho)

Liked

I was very impressed with the action aspect of this, considering it was a sprite movie i haven't seen something like this done with sprites, truly an original concept. The sound for the background and the gunfire was great but you were missing the voices for the characters, seriously if you had voices for the characters this would be one of the best sprite movies ive seen but because you didn't and instead opted for text that cluttered the screen you fall a bit short. Overall i was still impressed with the style of this, good work.

thx for ur review ;), im a bad voice actor, i'll have to hire ppl

You finally ended it!

Well sort of, i guess. But you ended it like it should have been ended. Any way, it was great. It really looked like a battle field. It touched me (to an extent). More music and sound would be nice. Hope the next is even better :-)

Nice Re-creation

Very nice re-creation of the beach scene from Saving Private Ryan. Nice job with the battle scenes and shields. The sound was pretty good, but could have used more sound effects other than gunshots. It was a very cool video, and I give it two thumbs up.
