Fantastic Transitioning
I think you did a marvelous job at transitioning between songs, i could hear each song clearly and it was very metal.
I must say, I like the idea.
The arrangement and the connections between songs were off. Great piece, don't get me wrong. But you could have made more Mario, and less Zelda. Until the second half, Zelda was overpowering, and it really didn't flow well until you started adding more Mario. Overall, a nice work, but you should balance the Zelda and Mario better, and make the piece flow more smoothly.
I think the creativity was great but...
I like the whole thing up too part min1:38 after that, I didn't like anything but for the quite Luigi's mansion part. the first part almost sounded like a title screen intro and its awesome. I'm actually trying too make this mario cross zelda game that I would love too use it for. And I'm taking the whole thing very seriously so I'm looking for great music for it. And I would love too use the whole song, and sadly I don't find the 2nd half all that great. And I realize its gonna be loud being metal, but I found it too noisy and the interments too repetitive in the SMB Castle and the legend of zelda surprised sound effect was a little annoying too hear three times in a row like that. And there's a little more but I think I've said enough.
Anyway I thought it was a great idea, but I believe that it could personally be better hearing some of your other amazing music. (And I also do understand that this was like 2 years ago so most likely was one of your first new-ground song).
But as for my game goes, I can use the first half; of course with your permission. I'm going too use it for the title screen/intro part of the .
and I would like too use some of your other music as well.
(for other people reading this post: I have not started my game yet, cause I'm still looking for a flash developing team, and its gonna be like a cross of mario rpg with super 63 with zelda material involved: I do however have the story plot in the game already).
