Reviews for "Brink of Alienation: IV"

good but with a glitch(or 2)

well this game has lots of improvement and has outclassed all the others in BOA.

unfortunatly i expierineced a gitch in lvl 3 when you crouch too long and you stay crouched while seeming to get hurt(though the health bar doesnt go down, and i could only jump half. but anyway great game.

Awesome

good gameplay, good plot, good everything.

BTW: although I'm not sure how to beat the fire monster, I used the grenade launcher. Dunno why this works, but it did kill him. Try arcing it so the grenades land on him

OMG the music rules!

Where did you get the music for the second level? Please tell.

so much better than the original

I loved it.....the original one sucked no offense, this one was terrific. however when i got to the part where the hallway blows up and i have to fight that fiery monster......after he grabbed me the first time, and slammed me down, my guy was glitching....he was stuck in the prone position....repeatedly making the sound as if he was getting hit.....i managed to beat the monster anyway but even after that it didn't go back to normal or anything..

I'm Shocked

Usually I rate games on their gameplay, not their graphics. But, this game, man, it was just too good. Not only in the character and enviroment details, but the little details, like the hero's helmet lighting up when shooting, and the great action in boss battles.

There was also lots of variety in this game, some swimming levels, interesting boss battles, mazes, etc. My one tweak was that the gameplay itself wasn't all that amazing. You point, and you click. You running away while clicking. The boss battles add timing and memory (thankfully there are boss battles often) but I would have liked if there were a little more strategy to the fighting. I can see why having a crazy all out shooter relying on accuracy and jumping, like Wpn Fire or Madness, wouldn't wuite fit, but being able to use that crouch feature a bit more, and enemies who fire blasts at you that don't go through all the cover.

A definite play, I can't wait to see what you'll cook up next.
