Have you heard from you pal? Hope you hear from him again. It sucks when internet friends just vanishes and you never hear from them again... You can't know what's happened or why they're not there anymore. Maybe they're in the hospital, maybe even dead... Hopefully your pal is OK.

This is pretty sick.
Except for the part around 1:00 or so that lasts for like 30 seconds. It seems as though the same notes are played over and over. However, the rest of the song is epic, but I also wish the drums had a little more variation. I like it.
Also dude, did you actually record this or did you use a VST? If you used VSTs I would absolutely love to know which ones you used.

yeah I'm a bit of a pattern composer where I repeat my riffs, sometimes for too long.
I do record my stuff, guitars and bass, drums made on the computer with my usual samples for each hits
