Reviews for "Great Depression cartoon"

Haha

I wasn't sure about this at first but I really liked what I saw. That was great, I'm sure you did well on your project :D. Awesome job, you've inspired me to do my next project in flash. Keep up the good work.

............

if i wanted to red i go buy a book

Pretty cool

Loved the music ^^.

the whole FDR as the saviour-pope guy was a cool idea.

KageRyu798 responds:

Yeah, if only it played at a frame rate of 30 that music in the Stock Market Crash scene would have gone with the animation. I mainly like Nintendo music, so that's what I used. FDR was supposed to be more of a priest (like in Fire Emblem), although I do realize that the stock market didn't revive overnight and FDR wasn't Superman; I didn't want it too long, though.

Very good.

Don't know what the last reviewer was on about, but compared to the never ending stream of crap that comes through here this is gold!
Graphics: They were good, especially for a first try, the animation was smooth and had good movement...much much better graphics than mostof the new stuff here (Looks at the s**i Kitty Krew submit) Yeah, these graphics are gold.
Style: It's good to see some substance in a flash, unlikie some other flashes which jsut try to annoy people (spits in general direction of Kitty Krew), nice blend of history and flash.
Sound: Good choice for what you wanted.
Violence: Not much, not much needed though.
Interactivity: It is a movie, although you did have a scene select.
Humour: I smirked, but didn't laugh, don't think you were going for too much humour though seeing as it was a school project.
Over all, if tghis doesn't get saved I will kill Kitty Krew... I will probably kill them anyway. Good job on a good flash! (Mind the political undertones though, not aware of American politics but this could be seen as republican/democrat propoganda seeing as how FDR was portrayed as a saint.)

Well...

This doesn't accurately depict The Great Depression, more so this depicts the Stock Market Crash of Black Tuesday in 1929, there were several global factors that led to the Great Depression, this is just one of the events.

Nice effort though...

KageRyu798 responds:

Yea, you got a point there. I think I will have to rename it.
