this looks really cool, and even somewhat matches the design of Gale on the new Status page the developer is working on for the full-blown revamp of the game he's doing.
do you think you could draw her with her vest looking a bit more like a sleeveless hooded mage's robe? i just think it would be cool to see art of Gale in an outfit like that...

I actually really like this design. It's difficult to imagine a person this kawaii beating aliens in the face with a hammer.
And I know what you mean by "energy" in the lines. I do mine the same way. I only draw with a pencil and paper though, and I find linework easier with a mechanical pencil.
Seeing this has prompted me to draw her myself.
