This is a meh

Game had a smart concept but was majorly flawed in the lack of interactivity. The fact that if you miss it doesn't matter and really doesn't change anything. You can just sit there and have the same outcome. Your paddle doesn't control the ball very much and at times its better to miss on purpose to get what you want. Which is rather dumb.

Also there is a bug where the ball gets permanetly stuck in the top left (and I assume right as well) corner of the level and can't escape. I say try again. Don't make everything so big, spread it out a lot. This is breakout, give us some room to break stuff.

This really needs work

In all honesty, I must say this game isn't good. You have very little control over the ball, therefore little control over the outcome of the game. It may have been a bit better if the player didn't share the ball with the computer, and the ball reflected differently depending on where it hits the paddle.

pretty fun for about five minutes dont know what everyone is talking about not being able to win its pretty easy.

neat idea but

not really happy with it, first of all I kind of expected a combination pong and breakout with the opponent being on the other side of the bricks, I like the way you did it better than that idea so it's cool, but needs a much larger play space and two seperate balls as someone else mentioned, also a two player mode.
in case you never noticed in most of these bounce the ball against your paddle kind of games the angle of the ball is drastically affected by what part of the paddle it hits with the edges being really sharp angles and the dead center sending it strait up.
without that you can't aim or strategize but just basically catch the ball over and over again.
