It's OK

But the cannons are too strong. Really the only thing that can hurt cannons is other cannons--even horses can't do much damage if you split your cannons up into 2 groups. I beat the first level with 1 cannon and my general, and nothing else.

Also your units never attack the guys what you want to, and they won't retreat when you want.

cannons can easily get wiped out if the enemy gets too close - in later levels this happens very easily.

good job but..

ive recently read some of your responses to other comments and heres wat i have to say: you need to make them retreat when told to. and do somtin about them running at the oppent and incountering a wall and stop completly. and make the bow gen not run right up to the units. and the thing where you get all your guys and click on one unit to attack it, it doesnt just go 4 that unit it attacks the first one it incounters. and if this is how you intended it to be then i take off a couple points >_>.

sorry, yep that is how we intended... and retreating needs to be painful or difficult. A retreating army gets screwed by the enemy - and we made it that was in the game. Retreating is also meant to be difficult if you're engaged with the enemy. I think it works best that way...

Fun Game

I enjoyed playing this game. It would be nice with a zoom in zoom out feature though so that you can view the whole battle field without scrolling. Tracking the money used was a little difficult for me. but then I didn't play this game long enough to figure it out. great game though.

Potentially a great game.

The graphics were perfect for a game of this nature, although the sound did get annoying and turning it off completely just made it unnaturally silent.

The real problems lie with the controlling of the troops. Although it works in your favour when the entire attacking army is charging forward only to be stopped by water, allowing you to blast them with cannons, it is annoying when that happens to you.

The characters refuse to disengage making it impossible to set traps and when i order cannon to attack a more dangerous attacker then disregard my commands and simply attack the closest person.

The game would be greatly improved if direct orders override the AI's coding...

Nice concept BUT... unit control was pretty hard the no. 123 and so forth are only controling those in your sight range and no matter how much you control your units they wont respond at times and wont mmove or attack so anyway it was good enough
