Unbelievably entertaining
I really wish I took part on making this game. Cause this game is so addictive and fun. I tried making a 2D side scrolling game similar to this one, and I ran into a whole lot of glitches. I noticed though how there was no real combos?! Pressing the A key once automaticlly played the punch combo, which was not a problem really because them guy's come at you in groups. Lol. This game rocks.
It must've really been tough on the actionscript coder for the A.I. because them enemies really had a mind of their own. I really wish to learn how to successfully accomplish that kind of artifical intelligence. Beautiful game man. I love the specail slow motion moves. Hey, I'm a fan of the matrix. I have one question though? Did you learn to code this game from school? How'd you learn to code the enemies A.I? Or was it someone else...Thank you in advance.
Great game
The gameplay is very smooth. My only complaint would be a bit of repetitiveness, and the lack of moves. Also, how some moves were more valuable then others (e.g. over 80% of my attacks would have been jump kicks. Any other move wasn't practical, as you had to keep on moving. The punch was almost useless, and the throw had to be used carefully). So a little room for improvement, but still, overall, really good work.
best stick fighting game EVAR
This rocks. Most stick games suck, but this totally rocks. The movements are fluid and well thought-out, the format is neat, and I like the way it's set up like a tournament.
The fighting is done well enough that it almost looks like a cheesy, awesome stick fu movie where each move is different. VERY nice.
