Reviews for "Zelda: Donut of Shadows"

Well Done

I like this. the style of it is kinda like madness u know whit out arms and legs-_-' but i like the graphics on it the animation is kinda good for a movie this sized...

Cosmodious responds:

Thanks, I think...thanks for taking the time to review this and I'm glad you liked it

Very nice

although i just made one and it going to be blammed i think im hoping not but this is way better than i can ever do

Cosmodious responds:

That made almost no sense but what I can get from it I say this: You've just gotta practice. This started with me in school using little black blobs for Link and a line for his sword but then I worked on it. I'm sure you'll get an awesome Flash on here someday. Thanks for the review and may the protection be with you

short and sweet

i liked it...i laughed in some parts...and the animation style wasn't something i havent seen before, but i liked playing Rayman. it was cool that the shadow person taunted Link into kicking his @$$.
THEN THEY GO FOR DONUTS! who doesn't like donuts?

Cosmodious responds:

Lol, so true. In the immortal words of Homer Simpson:
'Donuts, is there anything they can't do?'

Yeah, ok, it was great.

I liked it. (To the guy below me, you may be thinking of Madness Combat, or something. HR Characters have limbs, just not Homestar)

Anywhoo, the art was different, and a nice change from limb-ed characters.

Some shots did seem a tad stretched, and the beginning was just a bit abrupt. No intro, really.

Despite some little details that could use some work, you did great. KIUD; Keep It Up, Dude !

Cosmodious responds:

Thanks, it'd be cool if you could tell me exactly what you think could use some work because I want to get my next one as perfect as me-ly possible but thanks for your review.

Some decent originality, both in look and content

I don't know if you borrowed from somewhere else (could be Homestar R., I'm not sure I've seen it elsewhere yet) the idea to only show the ends of appendages -- hands, head, feet -- and skip giving characters arms and legs altogether, but my hat's off to you. It works fine stylistically, and had to save you LOTS of time, in animating.

Other than that, I like the drawing style. And the writing is decent satire on what you usually see in Zelda-type games.

The only easily identifiable drawback might be that some of the stuff seems slowed way down for no real good reason -- seems like it was just to make the 'toon run longer, as opposed to making it better somehow.

Anyway, not bad at all.

Cosmodious responds:

Thanks, I'm glad you liked it. At some parts I was trying to as you say the 'toon run longer' but at some of the parts where it slows down I was trying to get it to seem more dramatic. Apparently it didn't work but thanks for your review.
