My finger hurts...
A solid shooter, but with a to easy hardest level. I got to just over 10000 points before I needed to end the game.
The powerups are too comon. I want a game where I do not have a powerup 95 % of the time. The sheild is way to powerfull too, it looks like it can take infinity punichment before disabareing.

This game is pretty boring in fact... it's really too easy when you score less than 400, and then it's a "get-the-shield-bonus" game. and the music gets rapidly repetitive.
However, nice graphics.
I think you should replace the shield by another bonus, like a dual cannon, in your next game.

Hm... it was pretty bland. The game had potential, and the particle background preloader and everything got my hopes up for a great fast paced shooter with particles and lights.. But the game was very VERY slow paced, with no particle effects (enemies simply disappeared when hit), and the only thing vibrant and colorful and stuff, was the techno and the background randomly flashing. The game was slow and unrewarding.
Enemies came out extremely slowly, even way later in the game (I played for a lloongg time), and i killed each enemy one at a time throughout the entire time i played. There was never more than 3 enemies on the screen. The only time it reached 2 enemies was when the enemy got lucky while zig zagging for long enough, and the only time it reached 3 enemies, was when i scratched my nose for long enough.
It wasn't fast paced, it wasn't vibrant, it wasn't full of effects. There wasn't even a death animation for the enemies, and no noise when you shot, no noise when you got a power up. There wasn't ANY noise other than the annoying repetetive techno music.
Not to say its totally terrible. There just isn't anything good about it. However, it does have ALOT of potential. Seriously, if you can improve it on all the grounds i covered, this WILL be a good game.
3/5... And by the way, improve the controls. Mouse and arrows are awkward to use, and the ship controls extremely awkward itself. Doesn't ever move how you want it, so change the movement style aswell.

It would have been better if it didnt almost give me a seiszure.... but it was pretty awesome, you should put a warning on it or something so somebody really doesnt have a seizure... lol

There aught to have been a few more things like stronger enemies and stuff like that. More powerups would have been nice like spread shot.
